Our Team
Our dedicated team plays an integral part in the success of our patients at Westwood Nursing and Rehabilitation. The members of our skilled and diverse therapy team have decades of combined experience with specialties in orthopedics, spinal treatment, neurological treatment, wounds, geriatrics, wheelchair positioning, restraint reduction, swallowing, cognitive staging and urinary incontinence. Our staff is compassionate and understanding to our patients' needs and foster a warm and positive atmosphere while utilizing their years of experience and skill to provide treatment.
Kristin Taylor, LNHA, BSW
Executive Director
I have been a part of the Westwood Nursing and Rehab team since 2009. With a degree in Social Work, I started as the Director of Social Services, moved up to the Director of Admissions and Marketing, and am now serving as the Executive Director after receiving my License as a Nursing Home Administrator. I am married with 2 beautiful daughters and have been in the area since 2005 coming from upstate New York. Healthcare has always been my passion as I started my career in a hospital rehab setting. This building is such a big part of my life and am so honored to serve this population. The team at Westwood is highly skilled and trained. I am proud to guide and encourage strong leadership among our team.
Michelle Russ, RN
Director of Nursing
I have been working in the skilled nursing/ long-term care field for 14 years. I obtained my CNA certification and later obtained my LPN license. I then completed my RN-BSN at Mountain State University. I've had the pleasure of being employed in the field of Skilled Nursing/Rehabilitation facilities, Home Health, Assisted Living facilities, as well as being a nursing clinical skills instructor. I am honored to return to Westwood Health and Rehabilitation as the Director of Nursing, as I was previously employed at this facility as the Assistant Director of Nursing prior to moving out of state. Westwood has remained in my heart and I feel like I have returned to my home. I expect to continue leading an excellent team in providing exceptional caring environment for our residents during my employment in this facility.
Mary Connors PTA, MHSc
Director of Admissions / Marketing
I am excited to use my skills and experience as Westwood's Director of Admissions / Marketing and stay in the environment I love and am dedicated to. Previously, I had enjoyed working in skilled nursing facilities for 28 years as a physical therapist assistant and rehabilitation director. During this time, I also earned my master's in health science with an emphasis in health care management. I recently moved from Central Florida to join my oldest son and his family. Brian is in the Air Force while my youngest son Daniel is a nursing home administrator in Central Florida. Service to others runs in our family!
